I’m really tired of seeing my own work and ESPECIALLY the work of my friends stripped of credit. people are posting free content online for you to look at and enjoy, and if the thing they had to say about it or a link to them is too ugly for your dumb blog, don’t reblog it. I know this is the wild wild west of the internet, but try to respect creators.

I’m one of those artists that, while I appreciate the kind of skill one needs to weave a pretty good story with a simple prompt or image, can not fully appreciate it if it’s posted on one of my artworks.
Unless it was made specifically for you, please don’t add your fanfic to piggyback off of someone else’s post. It’s probably a harmless gesture, but sometimes artists have their own intentions with an image and it would just be less rude to link back to it than it would to just paste it on as it filters through your Dashboard.
